The LA SABLAISE Company is specialised in fish and shellfish-based dishes such as soups, veloulés, seafood terrines and fish rillettes. The company was set up by a craftsman “Maitre artisan”, Mr Antoine MARTINEAU, in 1990 in the town of Les Sables d’Olonne, on the Atlantic coast. It is ideally located in the 8th largest French fishing port which is very convenient for sourcing all kind of seafood.
The Company has the opportunity to source high quality raw materials coming mainly from France and Europe, preferably from marine sustainable fisheries.

Since 2009, LA SABLAISE offers a specific organic range which has quickly become a runaway success. The Company has a strong presence in the leading network of organic stores in France (mainly BIOCOOP).
Our soups, rillettes and marinades provide the authentic taste of seafood – as well as meeting the requirements for organic certification. Traditional recipes of conventional products have been adapted offering a wide choice of soups, rillettes and marinades.
The organic range consists in fish soups, fish and shellfish rillettes to be served as an aperitif, marinated fish fillets (anchovy, sardines), and homemade hot and chilled sauces for fish dishes,
LA SABLAISE never uses flavour enhancers, preservatives or colourings in the production of its products.
The flexibility of the production system means that we can produce many recipes to order and handle large volumes.

Most of the fish comes from sustainable, responsible MSC certified French fisheries. La Sablaise prides itself in upholding the quality of its products, which contain no artificial colours, preservatives or taste enhancers.
Raw materials are still processed at Olonne-sur-Mer – so you can be sure that we offer products that are one hundred percent made in France!

LA SABLAISE adheres to the MSC approach with the aim of protecting resources, the environment and the ecosystem. Our sardine rillettes are made from sustainably caught fish.
