The production premises of Torrefazione Morandini (Caffè Morandini) are located in Esine, in the province of Brescia, in the Lombardy region, North of Italy.
One of the main valuable features of our company is that it is a family-run business with a
high quality craft production system, aiming to combine an “Italian style” product with the
most advanced technologies.
That is why in July 2012 we inaugurated a fully automated roasting plant, complying with
the rules concerning the abatement of dust and fumes, making us one of the most advanced companies in the industry.
Pursuing the goal of manufacturing a high quality product in the Coffee industry is a very difficult path to follow, as the process is constantly changing. This is why it is extremely necessary that our qualified production department keeps extremely focused in order to
reach the target: to produce a coffee, that can be fully tasted according to all suitable tasting standards, not only set by experts but also by end consumers, often real connoisseurs of the product.
Raw coffee is carefully selected according to essential parameters, set in advance. We only use the best raw coffees from cleaned Robusta and Arabica species coming from Central and South America: they are particularly light, sweet, deliciously balanced, with an intense scent of flowers and a flavour of spices and cocoa, giving to this coffee a very low acidity rate and a persistent aftertaste.
All coffees with different origins are individually treated with the so-called “slow roasting” system (15/20 minutes length), automatically changing the output time of the “batch”, according to the specifications of each quality. Coffee then rests (degasification process) for at least 10 days, before passing to the preparation of the blend and afterwards to packing and distribution.
