Organic Agriculture is a method of agricultural production which exalts the natural fertility of the soil ecosystem, the healthiness of the products and reinforces sustainability without using synthetic products (es.chemical inputs and fertilizers). In order to obtain organic certification there has to be compliance with the EU Reg. 834/2007, which settles the production, processing, labelling, control and certification system in the EU.

CCPB srl is an Inspection and Certification Body for agrifood and “no food” products obtained in organic and eco friendly production.
In order to carry on its activities, CCPB has all the Authorizations & Accreditations. We count Italian Ministry of Agriculture Forestry and Food Policy (MIPAAF), the accreditation for Regulation CE 834/07 for organic agriculture, the accreditation in compliance with rule UNI CEI EN 45011 and the authorizations in Usa, Japan, Canada, Switzerland, Sweden. In UK, Germany, France, Norway, Brasil and South Korea, CCPB offers inspection services for national organic standards. The European Commission has also recognized CCPB as equivalent certification body (according to Reg CE 834/07), in China, Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon, Morocco, Philippines, Rep. of San Marino, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey and Mali.
Today CCPB certifies about 11.000 companies, 10.000 of them for Organic branch. In these companies we count big retailers, small and medium companies, start ups. About a third of the total Organic market turnover is certified by CCPB. Certification can be very important for the growth of production branches. Many studies show that certification improves the quality of the product and its environmental impact, ensures food safety, improves productive processes and it’s an unreplaceable service of trust towards the consumers.
