Eleven grades of exquisite pure Japanese organic Matcha, from ceremonial to ingredient grade, each with its distinctive color, flavor, taste and aroma, produced to meet the different taste requirement of different individuals. We guarantee that no two Matcha products taste alike or have the same color.
We offer three grades of ceremonial grade Matcha, five grades of daily grade Matcha and three grades of ingredient grade Matcha products. Using only top quality and the very first few young leaves of spring, all our ceremonial and daily grades Matcha products share the same characteristic of being extremely smooth and creamy with a deep to medium taste of 'umami'.
All the raw materials for our organic Matcha products are cultivated in Kagoshima, the second largest tea producing region in Japan. The vast land, high altitude, abundant sunshine, rain, mineral rich fertile soil from volcanic ash from the nearby volcano, Sakurajima, dense fog, clean air, extreme difference in temperature between the day and night, are some of the many natural environmental factors essential for cultivating premium quality organic teas. These natural environmental conditions are uniquely found only in Kagoshima.
We are the first tea producing company in the industry to offer over ten grades of organic certified Japanese Matcha from one single estate farm. We bring in the raw materials from the farm, process and pack all our Matcha products at our facility in Shizuoka.

Incorporated in 1954, our company is located in Shizuoka, the prime of Japan’s premiere tea producing region. We are a family-run tea company, specializing in wholesale and processing of wholly homegrown Japanese green tea, both organic and conventional. We focus mainly on premium grade regional conventional Japanese green tea from the main tea producing regions in Japan and premium grade organic Japanese green tea from Kagoshima (single estate farm).
We work only with farms which we are confident of the quality of the teas they produce, their safe and ethical cultivation methods and their reliable stable supply. We emphasize on fostering a strong and long-term working relationship with farms that we work with as this is our only way of ensuring stable quality and supply.
Organic Japanese green tea cultivation forms only a minor part of Japanese green tea cultivation in Japan. As such, it is not easy to find one organic farm that satisfies not only all the strict criteria of organic farming but also produces organic teas with a high grade quality. We are very fortunate to be working with such a farm and the devotion of the farmer in producing pesticide and radiation free, second-to-none quality organic teas is another reason why we know we have to share teas from this farm with the world. We obtained our organic certification (JAS, BIO, USDA) in 2001 and we have been exporting our organic teas mainly to Germany, the U.S.A., U.K., France, Sweden, Czech Republic, Australia, etc., ever since.
It is against our policy to sell products that pose any threats to the health of consumers. We practice strict internal safety control in accordance to the regulations set out by FSSC 20000. We also pay special attention to the packaging materials that we use for our teas, working with only companies that can provide safe packaging materials that comply with the safety regulations of EU countries, the U.S.A. and Japan.
