La Confiance is an unique Belgian speculoos with a mighty fine taste, based on a family recipe from 1924. It's made from organic ingredients, bought directly from local farmers: Belgian wheat grown by Thibaut, farmer’s butter, unprocessed cane sugar and selected spices. The speculoos was officially recognized by the Flemish Gouvernment as local traditional product. It was also honoured with the highest score of the ITQI Superior Taste Award: 3 golden stars.
We source our ingredients directly from farmers around us – all united by honest agriculture, respect for nature and for great taste. Finding organic Belgian wheat of top quality was not easy: 80% of the wheat that is being milled in Belgium is mainly imported from Russia and Ukraine. But eventually we found Thibaut, our king of wheat. We share his picture and story on our our packaging.
The ‘core’ La Confiance speculoos is our classic speculoos, but there is more: we've just finished a new speculoos with premium organic hazelnuts from Piedmont, Italy, grown by farmer Federico. At Biofach we'll also present our newest variety: La Confiance speculoos with pure cocoa nibs!

“La Confiance was founded by my great-grandfather, Jozef Borms, who was a baker back in the 1920’s, and his baking partner August. They didn’t just pick this name by coincidence. ‘Confiance’ means as much as trust. Jozef believed that one should earn the trust of people by being honest, trustworthy and going for the best every day. Values which he also passed on to my grandfather and father."

Ceval Healthfood has a baking tradition of almost 40 years. Recently it developed a new line of 4 soft-baked bran biscuits that are packed with all good things: bran, fruits, spices … They are organic, high in fiber, palm free and contain less than 100 Kcal per biscuit.
