Highland Barley, a kind of hulless barley, is mostly planted in Tibetan area with an altitude of above 2,500 meters and it has been cultivated and havested as food for about 3,500 years. Highland Barley is the grain with the highest content of beta glucan in the world，with the nutrition structure characteristics of "three highs (high protein, high dietary fiber, and high vitamin) and two lows (low fat and low carbohydrates)".
Highland Barley (Hulless) use the TIBET BARLEY No.25 (one kind of Highland Barley cultivated by Tibet Academy of Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Sciences) as the raw materials and processed of screening, dehulling and powder removal, carefully with the superior quality.
Located near Lhasa (capital of the Tibetan Autonomous Region), the planting base of Cheezheng Group has 666 hectares (10,000 Chinese acre) area exclusive for Tibet organic TIBET BARLEY No.25 (one kind of Highland Barley cultivated by Tibet Academy of Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Sciences). Our Highland Barley (Hulless) has obtained organic certification from China, UADA (United States Department of Agriculture) and European Union, it is also certified by China's ecological protection of the place of origin in 2016.
