Cretan Mill is a long-lasting story of 152 years of tradition combined with true passion for the craft of olive oil, the story of Almpantakis Family. In 1866, in the small town of Kalessa in Crete, a devoted olive oil producer named John Almpantakis, decided to put every effort into making what he knew best: authentic Cretan Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Four generations later, the family maintains the Legacy with the same values and respect for Cretan Land, owning now awell-established company, exporting its products worldwide. Cretan Mill, holding modern bottling facilities in Crete, high-end technology equipment and specialized personnel, focuses on continual investments enhancing its annual capacity up to 45.000 tons. With numerous privately-owned olive oil mills, an in-house chemistry laboratory and skilled scientists, Cretan Mill aims to achieve complete supervision in every crucial step in the process of olive oil production, ending in remarkable quality olive oil of unique organoleptic value and exquisite taste.
