Snacks Mandalay Co., Ltd was established in August 2015. Dr. Pyae Phyo Aye and his father, Mr. Khin Mg Aye, are founders of company. Dr. Pyae Phyo Aye decided to establish the company in 2015 for sustainable goal and inclusiveness of partner in value-chain. The founder was graduated with Master Degree in Food Science and Technology at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. Company main purpose is to use locally available raw materials and processes locally and export to international markets thus could create stable market for farmers.
Before setting up Snacks Mandalay Company, founders’ background business is traditional trading of sesame, peanuts and beans (mostly agricultural products) to China and Yangon. So, we have experience and good connection with farmers and suppliers. We have connection with suppliers, traders, processers, base infrastructure and local market access. Now, we would like to produce sustainable value-added products for local and international markets. With our innovative model, we could provide stable market for farmers which increase their income, improve livelihood, reduce poverty, create job opportunity, food safety, environmentally friendly and women empowerment.
Also, we have connection with international buyers and different partners, we can supply the good agricultural practices, farm technology, organic practices and bio-control technology to farmers for better productivity and yield in our contract farming. We will supply the know-how to farmers for quality improvement and good quality raw materials. Through our value-chain, we are producing conventional and organic spices for both international markets and domestic markets.
We have already received GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, USDA Organic, EU Organic, JAS and local FDA and HALA.
