Poliana Organic Farm produces wide range of organic teas - Yarrow, Thyme, Lemon Thyme, Melissa, Stinging Nettle, Peppermint, Rose hip, Lavender, Common Sage, Rose, Rosemary, Fig leaves, Chamomile, Linden, St. John's wort, Pine tips etc.
In Poliana organic Farm teas and herbs are collected from areas, which give the strongest taste and the best therapeutic effect, as found out by us.
These areas are usually with a poor soil, insufficient humidity and subject to considerable temperature deviations.
The herbs for the teas are coarsely ground in order to preserve their active ingredients.
For the tea bags we use the finest filter material, which does not add “paper” taste to the tea and the bags are sewed by hand.
In few weeks our tea bags will be replaced with biodegradable ones.

Poliana is a organic farm, cultivating and manufacturing a number of pure products: einkorn, emmer, spelt, rye, wheat, walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, chickpeas, lentils, honey, herbs, milk…
Our products are cultivated in the region of the village of Poliana, in the low North part of Strandzha Mountain. We alone process these products to obtain teas, marmalades, syrups, jams, dried fruits, cheeses, essential oils.
Our goal is to put the fruits, received from the nature into Genuine and Pure Food, made with Care and Love.
In Poliana we strive to combine in the food a maximum number of qualities, which we consider beneficial for the Health of the Spirit and the Body.
We cultivate our products and collect wild herbs and fruits only in ecologically clean areas – Strandzha, Rodopi or Balkan mountains. We do NOT use chemicals, herbicides or pesticides!
We prefer the handwork, where possible, rather than the machine processing. The energy of the hand is different from that of the machine. We consider that this way the food is most delicious and with highest quality. Hence, why it is not cheap either.
Attitude towards the environment
We try to use, as much as possible, packaging or technologies which do not pollute the environment. We will be glad if you return to us the jars or give for recycling the caps and the bags from the nuts.
With a risk our products to seem too “simple”, we aim the minimum processing possible, in order to preserve the forces and energies, which the Nature has invested in them.
Without preservatives or additives
Our products are with very short expiry term – we do not use preservative, additives, or any “E”s. Once opened, our products will not last for months and it is good to keep them refrigerated.
Our marmalades, jams and syrups are made the traditional way such products have been prepared by our grandparents, years ago.
We strive our farm to be an integral, live organism, therefore we cultivate many plants, including almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, emmer, spelt, rye, chickpeas, lentils, rosehip, lavender, thyme, salvia, grape, Rosa Damascena.
We have bees, cows, sheep, goats, ostriches and other birds. We collect a huge range of wild grown herbs for tea and essential oils.
The rosehip marmalade is made only from rosehip fruits and sugar. The rosehip fruits are well boiled, then sieved through a very thin natural material in order for the seeds and pins to be eliminated. In this marmalade we add no other fruits or supplements. A big quantity of rosehip fruits and a lot of work are required to obtain one small jar of marmalade. But it’s worth it…. Especially if spread on a complete flour pancake or some toasted bread……..
