CCPB has been recognised by NATRUE (www.natrue.org), whose logo presents the application of a number of rules set out by the natural and organic cosmetics industry and this logo is becoming the international benchmark for the sector. CCPB was the first Italian certification body to be able to certify products as compliant with this standard.
The standard and its appendix set out the rules for the ingredients and production processes that are permitted in order for products to be defined as natural or organic.
Companies wishing to be able to label their with this logo have to meet the requirements of this standard, and to do so they must submit the Application for Certification, accompanied by the appended Information Sheet about raw materials and finished product, and the documents required by the standard.
Applicants are also required to sign the financial agreement CCPB which includes the NATRUE fees, which CCPB will forward on your behalf, and to sign the Certification Contract , that implies acceptance of the clauses in the Certification Regulations. on receipt of the above documents, CCPB will assess them then, if they are in order, issue certification and add the company and its certified products to the appropriate list, following inspection of the production facilities and the products to be certified.
CCPB will follow up the surveillance programme in the event that licensees make any changes to their certified range, such as adding new products or removing existing ones.

CCPB srl is an inspection and certification body for agrifood and “no food” products, for example cosmetics products and textile products, obtained in organic and eco-friendly production.
Today CCPB certifies about 11.000 companies, 9.000 of them in Organic production branch. In these companies, we count big retailers, small and medium companies, startups. Certification can be very important for the growth of production branches.
CCPB is recognized by the Natrue Standard, one of the most recognized on an international level, which determines that the 95% of the ingredients must be certified as organic. The medical devices with ingredients from organic agriculture follow the principles of the EU Regulation 834/2007 and of organic cosmetics: they have the almost exclusive presence of organic ingredients; they are produced for an oral and external use. The organic and eco-friendly cleansers are obtained in compliance with bio-toxicological and eco-toxicological criteria, while the finished products are assessed also basing on their efficacy.
