Zandonella with "Sandro's Bio" is the worldwide the first ice cream manufacturer, who offers its ice cream in a BioFoam packaging manufactured by Synprodo. Visually, BioFoam reminds of EPS, but will be produced of not genetically modified sugar cane and is industrially compostable. This ecological advantage is accompanied with pros in the freezing logistic services and customer convenience. Therefore we received the Bio´plastics Award 2014 and were nominated to "Deutcher Verpackungspreis".
