As a sustainable producer, our goal ever since 1957 has been to give people back a taste of nature with every sip of Biotta juice they take. Our main focus in doing so has been on organic products, high quality standards and great taste.
We reject any organic products which have been mass-produced at the expense of quality. We love the healthy, natural vitality that is to be found in each single bottle of Biotta juice. That’s why we take a holistic and fair approach, from the growing stage to the bottling stage. By cooperating closely with local organic farmers, for example, we support sustainable organic agriculture in our home country. And further afield, our partners also support organic farmers in producing organic fruits and vegetables.
Prestigious national and international certification, including “Bio Suisse” amongst others, reflects the fact that the quality of our products and manufacturing processes is strictly controlled.
Doing people good
Our juices are packed with the best that fruit and vegetables can offer. If customers come during the harvest, we’ll be happy to go into details.
For example, we’ve thought long and hard about how best to combine the natural talents of our fruits, tubers and roots, and how to create nutritious juice mixes and an entire wellness package for juice weeks. It might sound a little old-fashioned these days, but nonetheless: we take the health and vitality of our customers to heart. With every bottle of Biotta juice, we are sending a little portion of tasty nature into the world - and perhaps a smattering of joie de vivre, too.
You won’t fit more nature than this into a bottle.
o 100% natural
o 100% organic
o made from 100% freshly squeezed juice, not re-diluted concentrate
o no added sugar (contains natural sugars)
o no added colourings, preservatives or flavourings
o no added vitamins (fruits and vegetables contain vitamins of their own)
Back in 1957, there were no guidelines for organic farming, no seals of approval, no certification. But there was Biotta carrot juice, for example. Our company, then still called “Gemüsebau AG Tägerwilen” (Tägerwilen Vegetable Growing Group) was one of the first farms in Switzerland to grow food organically.
In 1961, to reflect our belief in the future of organic farming, we changed our name and became: Biotta. Unswervingly, we take our stand against
fast-food culture, countering it with an increasingly colourful range of vegetable and fruit juices. 100% natural, 100% organic.
