In the space of a short time, the new Danish company Eco Clean is already enjoying a position as a leading supplier of 100% natural and sustainable cleaning products, and is now taking various export markets by storm, for example Sweden, Norway, Belgium, the Netherlands and Taiwan. Eco Clean has only one overarching goal: To lead the way within the development of effective, natural and sustainable cleaning products. For the benefit of the user, the environment and, in particular, the world in which we all live.
Eco Clean was established following our own experiences and frustrations as consumers and parents with trying to navigate today’s chemical jungle and protect our children as much as possible from the harmful effects of hazardous substances in our daily lives. Simply having to negotiate the endless range of eco-labels can be a huge challenge for the ordinary consumer, says Eco Clean co-founder Helene Münnecke.
It has taken four years of hard work for the four committed entrepreneurs behind Eco Clean to create a cleaning product that – based on traditional Danish plants – takes sustainability, effectiveness and affordability to a new level. After countless trials, they ended up with a recipe for a product that was so clean that it could immediately be certified with the internationally recognised ECOCERT eco-label. This was then the company’s admission ticket to BIOFACH in Nürnberg, the world’s biggest trade for organic food, organic drinks and organic non-food products, which resulted in significant international exposure.
- With our cleaning products, we want to provide a non-harmful alternative to conventional cleaning agents, which often contain a wide variety of toxic chemicals. We believe that our products can make a positive difference to the world, something which has always been part of our mission in our work with Eco Clean, says co-founder Tommy Andersen.
