MIELIZIA BIO Organic Italian Fresh Royal Jelly. Royal jelly is a glandular secretion produced by young bees from the 4th to the 14th day of their lives, when they act as nurses to the larvae. In the hive, it is only found in the queen cells, home to the queens, who will eat this food all their lives. In fact, it is the royal jelly which causes a larva to transform into a queen bee by stimulating the development of its reproductive system, enabling it to grow to a large size and extending its life to up to 3-5 years, compared to the 45 days of an ordinary worker bee. Royal jelly is normally taken in cycles, especially during changes of season, with doses ranging from 0.3 to 0.5 grams per day. Royal jelly must be consumed fresh if it is to maintain all its properties intact and it must be stored in refrigerators or freezers immediately after collection.
