Founded in 1990 by Claudie Ravel, Guayapi was created following the establishment of strong friendships, with deep common interests.
Starting with Warana (original name of Guarana in Sateré Mawé language), the company progressively began to expand the variety of noble plants used.
Guayapi now selects plants from wild fields in the Amazon and the hills of Sri Lanka, to be used as food supplements and cosmetics. In addition, we sell Sri Lankan teas and spices, cultivated using methods which encourage biodiversity.
Very aware about environmental and social issues, Guayapi struggles with energy in favor of biodiversity and fairtrade. Guayapi is a member of the IAFN (international analog forestry network), an executive member of the PFCE (french Plateform for FairTrade) of Cosmebio and and of IFOAM France.
