The Miassequoia apricot kernels originate from Anatolia. Once the fruit is ripe in July and ready for harvesting, the falling fruits will be collected by sheets and dried in the wind and sun over a couple of days. After the half time of drying time the kernels are pressed out of the fruit by hand. Our apricot kernels are not roasted, so that they do not lose important ingredients. They are a tasty alternative to almonds and are ideal for baking.
