Organic hazelnut oil is cold pressed from roasted hazelnuts. Roasting lends the hazelnut oil a yellow-brownish colour. Cold pressing retains the precious ingredients and the wonderful nutty taste. The delicious, mildly nutty taste is perfect on salads or for seasoning as well as for cakes and fine pastries.
Hazelnut oil has a high proportion of mono-unsaturated fatty acids and can also be used for frying.
