Organic Coconut Flour is made by drying and defatting coconut meat. A fine, pure coconut flour is produced from this which you can use to bake high quality, gluten free, low carbohydrate food. There are many advantages to using coconut flour over wheat flour: coconut flour is high in fibre, low in carbohydrates and has a low glycemic index, which makes it perfect for those who are diabetic or want to watch their weight. The flour is also gluten free, hypoallergenic, and 13% protein. Coconut flour expands during baking and is ideal for low-carb eating plans since the high fibre content creates a feeling of fullness.

Shelf life: 24 months

Suitable for: Breads, and baked goods. Can be used to replace up to 50% of other flours in most standard recipes. A variety of other baked goods can also be made using only coconut flour.
