Bulgur is an ancient product know in Middle East for thousands of years. It is now re-discovered and appreciated all around the world due to its amazing taste, versatility, and nutritious value.

Bulgur is produced by cleaning, boiling and drying hard durum wheat, and then, after removing its peel and grinding it in a range of different mills, classifying it according to grain sizes (extra extra coarse to extra fine).

Bulgur is a food product which is a healthier substitute to RICE, COUSCOUS and PASTA.

The same as rice and pasta, it is cooked in around 15 min.

Glycemic index of bulgur is low. Bulgur contains fiber, vitamins B and folic acid, potassium and protein.

Duru Bulgur is offering ORGANIC FINE BULGUR. It is produced from ORGANICALLY GROWN WHEAT, in the state of art production plant, using MILLSTONES for grinding the wheat grains.

Fine bulgur can be used as a side dish, in hot meals (both meat and vegetarian), in baking, in desserts, and in salad (a key ingredient in TABOULEH salad). Any type of rice meal can be made healthier by substituting rice to bulgur.
