All our tomato products come from tomatoes produced in our fields. Tomatoes are washed and then peeled in a mechanical and handy way. Once packaged, they are pasteurised to guarantee their preservation and bottles in glass jars. No thickening agents, water or preservatives are used.
Cal Valls is a familiar company with more than 30 years in the organic agriculture. The company is located in a small village called Vilanova de Bellpuig, in the western part of the autonomous community of Catalonia, north-eastern Spain.
Our firm is structured in three areas:
We are producers and manufacturers. We grow all kind of organic and biodynamic vegetables such as onions, potatoes, peppers, garlic, zucchini, and mainly tomatoes.
Most of our production is focused to the elaboration of our vegetal preserves. On the other hand, we also elaborate organic fruit juices and convenience food such as cooked beans, chickpeas or lentils, with the fruits from other producers.
We commercialise our own products and those from other manufacturers.
We have been performing such activity for more than 30 years, our crops being the first to be certified in Spain as organic.
From the crops to our final product, the most important target is the consumer’s health and the preservation of our environment. This is the reason why the process of elaboration of our products is carried out with care and with an optimal preservation of the fruits nutrients and flavour.
