Headquartered in Hanfthal in Austria, our company engages in the cultivation and processing of hemp. Shelling hemp seeds on commission for large customers is the primary business segment.
We conclude hemp-cultivation contracts with organic farmers in Austria and the rest of the EU to satisfy the ever-increasing demand for biological industrial hemp.
The hemp-hulling system is the centrepiece of our company. Hulled hemp seeds are used for muesli, yoghurt, smoothies, and as a healthy garnish for foods and salads. The hemp grist accumulating during shelling—a mixture of small shell pieces and seeds—is used for baking cakes and bread.
With its extraordinarily high content of omega-3-fatty acids, cold-pressed hemp oil is used in the cold kitchen. Hemp oil is produced in three specifications: cold pressed from unshelled hemp seeds, cold pressed from germinated hemp seeds, and as especially mild hemp oil cold pressed from shelled hemp seeds.
The remaining press cakes are further processed into hemp flour and high-quality hemp-protein powder, which is very popular primarily in the modern kitchen. Additional hemp products for trade are hemp biscuits, nibble hemp, hemp smoothie powder, chocolate hemp, and a selection of hemp tea mixtures.
Hemp products are also finding ever more customers as high-value animal-feed additive: hemp shells as raw fibre as well as hemp oil and hemp grist as protein and raw-fibre sources.
We look forward to interesting contacts from the wholesale and retail trade, food producers, and bakers as well as from parties interested in hemp contract farming and commissioned processing.
