The chickling vetch is an ancient crop. Chickling vetches are good protein sources and can be used like dried peas or beans. Their flour can also be added to the ingredients for the preparation of pancakes or bread, and they are equally suitable for preparing hummus, falafel and soups.
Our Demeter chickling vetches are obtained with a zero tillage intercropping technique and are grown on our partner farm in Austria.
