Sweet lupines are a source of high-quality vegetable proteins and are particularly recommended to vegetarians, vegans and sport lovers. They offer a high protein content (41%) and plenty of fibres (32 g / 100 g). Sweet lupines contain all the eight essential amino acids and is free from both gluten and cholesterol. Lupine flour can be eaten raw, which allows a quick intake of high-quality proteins. But lupine flours is also a valuable ingredient in the creative whole-food cuisine, where it is employed for the preparation of pancakes, cakes and pastries, soups, sauces, dressings, shakes, smoothies or as a binding agent.
Our fine and voluminous lupine flour is ground with an air stream mill. The lupines are grown by a Demeter project in Poland. They are certified gluten-free and undergo periodical controls.
