NOVEMBRE. A monovarietal Arbequina oil, organically produced with respect for nature, love for good work and the essences of the Mediterranean. In 2008 the Mas Llull family realised that there was a niche in the Extra Virgin Olive Oil market which could be filled with a new high quality and organic product, the result of a greater understanding of the extraction of the oil from the olive. Son Elsebitx, has been a working farm in the Mas Llull family for over 150 years. Now 25 hectares of the original farm is dedicated to olive growing.The latter having been the basis of Mediterranean cuisine for many centuries.
VERDEROL. A coupage of Arbequina, with small amounts of Picual and Empeltre. Picked green, assuring a special fragrance and an oil that is both lively and delicate. The brothers Joan and Martí Mayol personally care for 2600 olive trees near Palma in order to keep their family land green and alive. Their shared love of the natural world led them to name their oil after a bird: Verderol, the Catalan name for a Greenfinch, and the perfect name for an oil that is as soft as a feather and as lively as a bird. There are documents that show that Mayol olive oil was being exported to Holland in the 18th Century.
REIS DE MALLORCA: The oil "Reis de Mallorca” (Mallorca’s Kings) is the result of the search for the best possible relationship between quality and price under the strict control of our families. "Reis de Mallorca" offers Extra Virgin Olive Oil of the Arbequina varieties with the name "Reina Elionor" and a blend of the typical varieties of Mallorca with the name "Rei Sanç" collected in veraison and filtered, looking for the best relationship between price and quality.
