Manioc starch is produced from the manioc root in a complex process. Water is then added to the strach. Thereafter the starch-mixture is broken down by certain natural enzymes. After the liquid is filtered it is concentrated to syrup at low temperatures.

Due to its neutral taste manioc syrup is perfectly suitable for savoury and sweet dishes. It nicely finishes off sauces, dips and dressings. Moreover it is ideal for sweeting ice cream, sorbet, dessert, yogurt, and beverages.
