This year, for the very first time, we are proud to propose the new 2017 harvest, pressed with organic olives from our family estate. This unfiltered olive oil is the first of the year. The olives are cold pressed a few hours after the harvest, giving a character oil. A cocktail of 3 varieties of olives which bring each its particular taste.
It was in 2014 that the dream of David Garnier, grandson of Emile Noël finally came true. His ambition was to pay homage to his grandfather by producing his own organic olives again.
This is why we bought and rehabilitated a previously abandoned olive growing area. Investments have helped to restore and modernize the estate while aiming to produce quality organic olives, with unique and pronounced flavors.
The Emile Noël organic olive grove is located in Andalusia, in Alameda. This is a region where Mr. David Garnier used to enjoy his family vacation as a child.
Three varieties of olives are used to give all the flavor of this special cuvée Hojiblanca, Manzanilla and Picual. Manzanilla gives the oil fruity aromas with hints of bitterness and pungency on the finish. The Picual brings stability and balance. The Hojiblanca, for its part, gives the oil a delicate green fruity and bitter almond aromas.
This new crop olive oil leaves room for authentic flavors, intensified due to non filtered oil. Dominated by notes of freshly cut grass and intense green fruit, these flavors will delight the taste buds of connoisseurs.
