Its shade is off-white, and it is a slender grain with the aroma of white jasmine. Since Sinlek rice is not very sensitive to sunlight, it can grow throughout the year. With a low-to-moderate glycemic index, Sinlek rice is widely consumed among patients with diabetes. It is found that the consumption of Sinlek rice resolves diabetes, stabilizes insulin resistance reduction, improves the function of the pancreas, and lowers triglycerides. Sinlek rice also contains high amounts of iron, making its consumption in children with iron-depletion conditions increasingly popular.
