Already in the 3rd year, 4 Bioland farmers in northern Germany are growing organic quinoa for the Bohlsener Mill.
The Bohlsener Mill accompanies the farmers from sowing to harvesting. After harvesting, quinoa is cleaned. Our quinoa contains nearly no bitter substances. Therefore, it doesn’t need to be washed and dried after harvesting, nor rubbed off. In this way we get all the good ingredients that are contained in the shell. Just a real whole grain product. The quinoa is freshly ground into wholemeal flour in our own mill and this in our artisanal production.
