Our Company, Artigiana Genovese srl, is specialized in the production of "Pesto Genovese" and other typical sauces of the Liguria region. Our production plant is in Genova Pra.

We are a family owned company, founded in 1998 by the will of our father Aldo Amadori, a lover of good food made of selected ingredients and traditional recipes. We only use high quality raw materials, which allow us to create a range of products prepared according to old traditions of natural foods. We bring the same pride and the same passion into every product today, as we have done over the last fifteen years.

Thanks to territoriality, the qualified staff, the selection of raw materials and the constant attention throughout the process, we can guarantee a high quality product at a good price.

We are very sensitive to food allergies, and therefore all our products are GLUTEN FREE. To meet the needs of every consumer our range also offers vegetarian and vegan products.

Since 2003, the year in which we have been certified by ICEA F262, we pay a lot of attention to the ORGANIC world.

We are an environmentally friendly Company, basing our manufacturing process on sustainable, CO2 free and renewable energy.

Our "Pesto Genovese", is produced according to the specifications of the Pesto Genovese Consortium, which has as its sole objective to safeguard and promote the authenticity of this ancient recipe. In 2005 the European Community has granted the status of Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) to the Genovese Basil, grown exclusively in Liguria. The Genovese Basil PDO is famous for its delicate and unique aroma and intense flavour and it is the main ingredient of our Pesto.

Year by year, our company grows and our Pesto Genovese received widespread recognition for its exceptional quality. Our shelf-stable Pesto is raw, not pasteurized to retain its bright green color, the typical aroma of freshly picked Genovese Basil, the freshness of the ingredients and the seductive and intense perfume of the Pesto made in the mortar.

Our modern and functional facilities allow us to combine a good production capacity with maximum flexibility.  Being a producer allows us to take care every day of every aspect of our work, from the selection of the best raw materials to the strict observance of each stage of the preparation, customizing products according to the specific needs of each customer and, if necessary, to create ad hoc recipes. Currently we distribute our products in both domestic market and international market, both with our brands as well as private labels.

Our company is very attentive to technological innovation and food safety standards. Over the past years we have been investing a lot in research and development in order to meet the increasingly demanding market requirements. We have adopted the HACCP system to ensure the quality and safety of all our productions. We are also certified by IFS and BRC and this reflects our commitment to food hygiene, traceability and quality.

Moreover our factory is registered at  FDA Food Facility and most of our products have the FDA FCE-SID registration certificates.
