Joe&Co. is specialized in the production of vegetable oils, organic and vegan certified, from seed oils such as flaxseed, sunflower, canola, sesame and corn seed oil to special oils like argan, hemp, avocado, virgin coconut, pumpkin and omega 3&6 oil along with the classic extra virgin olive oil.
Joe&Co. was established in November, 2010 by Giuseppe Matticari, who has always been involved in the production of cold pressed seed oils and extra virgin olive oils,from organic agriculture.
The passion for organic food and the continuous innovation in the products range quickly leads the company to be a benchmark in the oil market internationally, consolidating Crudolio brand in more than 26 countries.

The heart of the company is the packaging department, currently with 4 lines, 2 are semi-automatic and the other 2 are totally automatic. The production is able to fill bottles or cans of various sizes and formats, with an installed capacity of 60,000 bottles per day.
All procedures are monitored by the management software both the traceability and packaging, it provides the batch number, the label for carton box and pallets. The traceability includes the main packaging (glass bottles, caps, labels).
The company has stock capacity for 150MT, divided between olive oil and seed oils.
Research & Development
The company pays attention to new trends in food industry and develops new products and methodologies in order to offer innovative and quality food.
In 2016 the virgin coconut oil was launched on the market, rich in lauric acid, which helps strengthen the immune system, in capric acid useful for the digestive function and in vitamin E and natural antioxidants that help protect the cell tissue and prevent premature aging of the skin.
The same year the virgin avocado oil was introduced in the special oils range, rich in minerals, polyunsaturated fatty acids (α-linolenic and linoleic) and monounsaturated fatty acids that help in preventing the absorption of cholesterol and triglycerides in the bloodstream. Vitamins A, D and E, contained in avocado oil, contribute to the regeneration of skin cells.
Currently, the company is working on two projects, both attributable for innovation technology field.
These projects, done in collaboration with Italian Universities, concern the processes for pressing of flaxseed. The aim is to define a method of squeezing, that enables to increase the yield and quality of the extracted oil, while allowing to reuse the materials left after pressing.

Careful selection of suppliers and raw materials
A quality product has to be good from the very beginning and in all its components. For this reason, the company carries out careful research and selection of suppliers which are constantly monitored and evaluated, they are considered our business partners.
The quality of the raw materials are tested by our company, Joe & Co., with a methodology called Panel Test, further through analysis commissioned by external accredited and trust laboratories. In particular, we analyze for each batch of product all the parameters introduced by law, and of course multi-residual analysis for pesticides.
Attention to the packaging process
The packaging is carried out by qualified personnel with experience, able to manage and ensure the quality of the finished product.
