Organic Standard was founded in 2007 to become the first local inspection and certification body for organic production in Ukraine. By receiving accreditation of the IOAS against Standards ISO Guide 17065 in 2009, Organic Standard has taken up a position as internationally known inspection and certification body. Up to now, it has been the only Ukrainian organic certification body recognized by the European Union and Switzerland.
Organic Standard provides its inspection and certification services to more than 500 organic operators in Ukraine, which represent approximately 75% of all organic operators in the country. Moreover, the company controls a significant and growing number of operators in Belarus and Kazakhstan.
