Ecoagri Serbia LLC is a large-scale organic crop producer, managed by experts with international business experience.
Since the company’s privatization, Serbian as well as foreign shareholders have gradually improved its previously struggling conventional agriculture business. Initial investments into much needed equipment were accompanied by numerous land agreements which achieved surface integration, thus simplifying management, assuring quality and decreasing relative costs.
Positive geographical characteristics, strong agricultural tradition, continuous land value increase, preferred customs status towards both EU and CIS and the growth potential are attracting diverse additional investments. In September, 2013 Ecoagri started complete conversion to organic of all corporate assets, including own 2300ha, irrigation systems on ¼ of the surface and 12000 t silo.
Since 2016, Ecoagri is in full organic status, certified by Organic Control System according to OCS Standard (equivalent to EC Regulation 834/2007) and by ICB according to Bio Suisse Standard. Ecoagri is situated in South-Banat region, famous for wine, fruits and nuts. Fields along the Serbian – EU Romanian border, within an area considered ecologically clean in an absence of industrial pollutants.
Since converting to organic production, our goal was to deliver final, organic certified, product to the domestic and international market. In year 2016 we got a step closer to achieve that goal.
Ecoagri Serbia has set up packing center, with two packaging units. One of them is Dolzan vertical automatic unit, for packing powdery products. Its capacity is up to 800 units per hour. Other one is semi-automatic, for packing grain goods. Its capacity is up to 700 units per hour.
Stone-mill Partisani for production of wholegrain flours is also part of processing unit at Ecoagri Serbia. Milling capacity is 400-800 kg/h.
In order to have full assortment of flours, Ecoagri Serbia has purchased another milling unit, for production of type and all-purpose flours.
Following stage is to set up the production of organic cookies, breakfast cereals, mueslies and pastas, and after that production of cold-pressed oils and similar products.
