The ifp Institute for Product Quality is an ISO 17025 accredited testing laboratory for the analysis of food, animal feed, drinking water and medicines. At our headquarters in Berlin and at our other sites in Leipzig, Ohrdruf, Stendal and Aachen, a 350-strong team analyses manufacturers’ products before they go on the market. Since we were established in 2004, we have developed into a full-service provider for the industry: from microbiology and bioanalytics to the state-of-the-art analysis of chemical contaminants and residues using LC, GC and mass spectrometry - we test with responsibility.
Thanks to our ISO 17020 accreditation as an inspection body for allergen and hygiene management, manufacturers also benefit from our on-site inspection expertise. With complete neutrality and many years of industry experience, we help you assess and optimise your production and quality processes.
However, we are more than just a service provider: our research department is dedicated to the development of state-of-the-art analysis methods, e.g. for the identification of vitamins, allergens, pathogens and GMOs. The key technology here is the drying of biomolecules such as antibodies, oligonucleotides, bacteria and cells. Our patented diagnostic products, which are manufactured on site, are marketed and distributed worldwide by selected partners. ifp is also involved in numerous research projects - further proof of the innovative strength of our team of highly qualified employees.
