With GEPA‘s new organic and fair roasted and packed coffees in their origins, almost more than three times of the money stays in the origin compared with regular commercial coffee. APROLMA, our partner in Honduras, is a women's cooperative - that is rare in the international coffee market. The members founded the first women's association in Honduras to fight for their rights. The history of women in the cooperative is often marked by problems such as domestic violence. By cultivating and processing their high-quality coffee, they are fighting for more independence and self-determination.
Also in Guatemala more people can live on it. This is especially important for the Maya, who are still disadvantaged in Guatemala. FEDECOCAGUA brings together many cooperatives that demonstrate their skills in all areas of coffee production: from cultivation and harvest through gentle drying to masterful roasting and subsequent packaging.
Finally, with the organic Café MUSASA from Rwanda in Africa, we are rounding off this special line and have created diversity and variety for explorers according to their preference and taste. All three varieties are available in whole beans. We especially recommend the filter as a preparation method.
