Our company Sommer was founded in 1864. We are an independent family-run business in the 5th generation with long tradition, backing with enthusiasm and passion. Back then and today we are convinced that only the best ingredients will lead to high quality and delightful biscuits and cookies. It is therefore evident for us to produce in organic quality. We offer the largest biscuit and cookie assortment in Demeter quality and bake them with character according to our traditional recipes.
Besides high quality raw materials it is important for us to use regional and natural crops such as spelt. It is pure fun which helps us to create diverse biscuits and cookies such as the new gluten free products which are safely baked on a separate baking line. Whenever possible we relinquish to animal raw materials, therefore 80% of our products are vegan.
