The development of information systems and services is an integral part of the CCE’s business policy, with better performance of the Croatian economy as the primary goal. Following the needs of its members and their business partners in the country and abroad, the Chamber maintains and develops a database of information on the Croatian economy, co-operates with governmental, scientific, professional and economic institutions. Furthermore, it stimulates the establishment of a Croatian information society, co-operates with international chamber and other associations, sets up computerised business networks, provides information for its members, their business partners, governmental and other institutions home and abroad, and trains its members in how to use the Internet technology and the CCE’s databases.
The Croatian Chamber of Economy is an independent professional and business organisation of all legal entities engaging in business. The Chamber consists of the Headquarters in Zagreb and 20 County Chambers. Functionally, the CCE consists of 9 departments dealing with the respective branch of the economy, 51 professional associations, 57 groups and 26 affiliations. Apart from this, within the CCE act Permanent Arbitration Court, Conciliation Centre, Court of Honour and CCE Office for Areas of Special State Concern.
