Beppie is an organic sheep-cheese. The sheepmilk comes from a little cooperation with 8 family-farms. The milk comes from different breeds, including the Frisian Milk Sheep, Zwartblessen and the French Lacaune sheep. Mutually the rams are exchanged for a healthy breeding program.
The feed is grown on their own soil, so that the cycle remains closed.
They reject large-scale animal husbandry, they want to retain the success formula of the family business and the human size. Therefore, a maximum of 400 dairy sheep per farm is used.
Sheep cheese contains 85% more calcium than cow’s cheese and it has the most favorable Omega3 / Omega6 ratio. It also contains much more linoleic acid than cow's milk, the substance that plays a role in reducing fat mass and stimulating muscle mass. Sheep chese is easier to digest than cow's milk because the fat particles are smaller. There are many more A, B, C and D vitamins in sheep’s cheese than in cow's cheese or goat’s cheese.

The milk is transported to The Mekkerstee in Ouddorp (NL) and the most creamy sheep cheese is made from the unique Mekkerstee recipe.
