The Guayusa for GUYA is cultivated ecologically in permaculture forest gardens. For example, next to Guayusa plants grow bananas, herbs, sweetcorn, cocoa and tobacco. No pesticides and almost no fertilisers are used. This is because the climate produces a rapid, self-renewing organic life cycle where short-living plants nourish the long-living plants within a short time frame.We take care to preserve the traditional Chakra forest gardens and the diversity of the rainforest.
