The Ölmühle Solling - Living values and creating delicacies traditionally and future-orientated
For more than 20 years the Ölmühle Solling, founded by Gudrun and Werner Baensch, stands for food specialties, fresh from the mill, from organic raw materials. With Sarah and Sebastian Baensch, the second generation is already present. In the family business, values such as organic cultivation, sustainability and social fairness determine all corporate actions. The high-quality exclusively cold-pressed oils are manufactured with the help of small spindle presses. Cold pressing keeps the typical taste and valuable ingredients of the oils in their best form. The press temperatures stay between 35 and 55 degrees. "Fresh from the mill" is the self-imposed quality standard: The raw material is harvested as freshly and regionally as possible. The oils are processed in small batches, filled in bottles directly and get immediately shipped - just fresh from the mill. The traditional manufacturing processes are supplemented by modern food technology standards when it comes to quality assurance and complex testing procedures. The Ölmühle Solling attaches great importance to long-term, mutually respectful cooperations with suppliers, to whom the family maintains personal contact in numerous cultivation projects worldwide. The company is a partner of the Naturland association, a member of the Federal Association Naturkost Naturwaren (BNN) and a member of the Slow Food Germany organisation.
