Quality from the beginning onwards
In order to keep our quality promises, Worlée relies on long-standing partnerships with selected suppliers from around the world. In order to evaluate local cultivation and working conditions as well as the quality of the organic raw materials, our trained employees regularly carry out audits in the countries of origin. In this way, we ensure that the raw materials correspond to our quality requirements before they are transported to Hamburg. Furthermore, as a transparent company, we submit ourselves to intensive external audits by customers, authorities and certification agencies. We set our quality policies and objectives according to quality standards such as FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP, BRC for Agents and Brokers and GMP+. In addition, many of our products are certified kosher and halal..
Certified organic quality and transparency across the supply chain
We place great emphasis on transparency across the supply chain of our organic products. Thus, along with products that are certified according to the EU guidelines for
organic farming, we also offer other organic standards such as Naturland, National Organic Program (NOP), BioSuisse and Japanese Agricultural (JAS).
More and more of our fruits, herbs, teas and spices are Fairtrade or UTZ certified. In this way, we guarantee that social, ecological and economic criteria are maintained across the supply chain in order to ensure the sustainable development of producers in the countries of origin. Along with adherence to different environmental criteria, transparency is also expected with respect to fair wages and regulated working conditions.
