As organic certified producer and importer of high-quality, vegetable oils, fats and related raw materials, we understand ourselves as entire provider for the international food and cosmetics industry.
Our assortment contains approx. 150 oils, fats and related specialties. The main part of this broad selection is existing stock, it is filled in our own storage and prepared for shipment.
We produce many of our products ourselves or have them produced according to highest standards. All our macerates are manufactured by us according to our own recipes. Experience and strictest controls are the guarantee for the best quality. Special products are very important to us because they preserve a variety of species and therefore biodiversity. Still, we do not list a product we have not occupied ourselves with.
Our long experience is a great help with doing this, since the origins of Oleador date back to 1991, when the company commenced business as a trading house. Since 2005 we have been importer and producer of oils, fats and related species. In 2009 we became a limited liability company.
Our headquarters is traditionally located in Hannover. The production and logistics is located in Barnstedt near Lüneburg (also known as Lunenburg). Because of the steady growth a new location with an area of approx. 5000 m2 is planned near Hamburg. The proximity to the harbor Hamburg and to the highway A7 enables us to declare the incoming goods “on-site” and to transport them in a cost-efficient way. Our partner laboratory EUROFINS is also located in Hamburg, which enables short-term and uncomplicated quality controls of our goods.
Quality management – build trust
The selection of our assortment is subject to strict and trustworthy quality criteria. Our goal is to offer you high-quality products.
With our many years of experience, technical care and our versatile knowledge, our oils are gently produced by the procedure of cold pressing to keep the sensoric parameters and fat-accompanying substances (unsaponifiable fraction). Among the fat-accompanying substances are lipophilic vitamins (vitamin A, D, E and K), sterols and lipochromes (e.g. carotenoids, chlorophylls).
In addition, we secure the flawless quality of our oils by regular incoming goods controls, external laboratory analyses and our own on-site filling. Also, long term supplier relationships and audits are part of our quality policy.
For each oil there are analysis reports, production specification, safety data sheet, flow charts and further documents available.
Our products are notified in the CPNP according to regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009.
We already implemented the GMP and HACCP requirements as basis for the quality and management systems FSSC 22000 (Food Safety Systems Certification 22000). The FSSC 22000 is a norm to guarantee food safety when producing food. It connects the requirements of the ISO 22000, management systems for food safety, with other requirements as well as with preventive programs and standards. The introduction of the FSSC 22000 is planned for 2020.
