ErdmannHAUSER is a firm in Southern Germany, who manufactures several sorts of biodynamically grown grain. In the ErdmannHAUSER mill the following kinds of grain are ground: spelt, barley, buckwheat, oat, one-grained-wheat and wheat.
These grains come from regional biodynamic farms. The relationship to the farmers is long-standing and based upon regular supplies, steady prices and intensive communication. Together we support the evolution of seed cultivation.
Our hydro-thermal treatment of the grain with water, warmth, and time is a special processing step to provide the basis for the quality, which meets our today`s nutritional requirements: to prepare healthy and light whole grain food in a short time.
Even babies can digest ErdmannHAUSER TAU-products and Semolina-products easily.
The most coarsely ground product is ErdmannHAUSER Bulgur. It can easily be prepared as a hot dish or as a salad or even as a muesli.
Furthermore, ErdmannHAUSER is famous for its salty snacks (Grissini, Saltsticks and Pretzels), fine biscuits and rusk(crisp bread) – most of them made from spelt. After milling the grain in our own mill, the products are manufactured in our ErdmannHAUSER bakery in a traditional way. We deliberately use simple recipes. The valuable ingredients and the gentle handling by our bakers result in a lovely taste.
