The Association BIOL ITALIA – Association for the Improvement of Organic Products – was created on 10th September 2010 with the objective of improving the quality of organic products, both in terms of organoleptic, environmental and social aspects. BIOL ITALIA supports organic producers in research, development, training, technical assistance and promotion.
The association Biolitalia takes part to the main international fairs with huge collective areas offering an established formula for the members that includes, in addition to the area occupied by the members co exhibitors, a tasting area and show cooking of the products of the companies and a meeting area for promotion and events. members.
In 2020 Biolitalia will cover 526 sq m. at Biofach, 5 island and 400 sq m in hall 4, a peninsula of 126 sq m in hall 1.
Biolitalia organize with the same formula collective areas at SANA Bologna (350 sq m), CIBUS Parma (200 sq m), MARCA Bologna (128 sq m), TUTTOFOOD Milan (300 sq m).
BIOL ITALIA together with C.I.BI. and Consorzio Puglia Natura has developed a transnational network for regional development, national and EU of organic products and PDO, IGP, DOC, IGT quality marks established under the EU Regulation. Members of BIOL ITALIA are committed to participating in the events of the BIOL network (BIOL, BIOLMIEL, BIOLWINE, BIOLFISH) in which products from various sectors are evaluated and given specific recognition by an international panel of experts, through analysis and tasting sessions.
BIOL ITALIA, thanks to its qualified staff, organizes and implements activities and initiatives to select quality companies and promote their products in trade fairs and events.

To date, the association has over 500 members mainly represented by companies that adhere to the many promotional and educational initiatives. In particular, the International BIOL Prize, for the best extra virgin organic olive oil in the world, each year attracts more than 400 producers, members of Biolitalia, participating in the competition to be judged by a very qualified international jury that meets in Puglia in March.
