Hemp Factory produces hemp food raw materials for the processing industry in both conventional and certified organic qualities. In addition to shelling the hemp seeds, our range of services includes the extraction of hemp oil, the production of hemp flour, hemp protein and hemp dietary fibre. Our customers include renowned food and baked goods producers as well as leading wholesalers. Another production line is the manufacture of fodder, concentrated feeding stuffs and fodder oil for the animal feed industry. We also supply livestock businesses with our high-quality concentrated feeding stuffs made from by-products, such as oil, oil cake and coarse meal. Moreover, in the field of research and development, Hemp Factory works closely with the processing industry, institutes and manufacturers of installations and machines. In doing so, the company is also able to benefit from the more than 20 years’ experience in the hemp market of its Managing Director, Daniel Kruse.
With the new production site in Borken, North Rhine-Westphalia, a new chapter began for Hemp Factory in 2018. Highest production standards ensure best product quality made in Germany. Our fully integrated food factory is the only hemp factory worldwide powered by its own solar energy. According to our philosophy to combine ecology and economy and with a view to global warming and climate change a coherent step into the future.

Why do we process hemp?
Hemp food is rich in fatty acids and both essential fatty acids omega-6 and omega-3 in an optimal ratio of 3:1. It supplies easy digestible proteins thereof all eight essential amino acids, numerous vitamins like B1, B2, folic acid and vitamin E as well as calcium, iron, potassium, magnesium and other trace elements.
A Healthy nutrition, a conscious lifestyle, and environmental awareness are becoming more and more important for a growing number of people. Hemp, one of the oldest cultivated plants in the world, can be an answer to the challenges of this day and age. Processible and versatile as hardly any other plant, it provides the raw material for textiles, food, cosmetics, feed, building materials and energy. It is extremely resistant and does not need any pesticides. It is easy and eco-friendly to grow, fast re-grown, needs little water and is a soil conditioner. Hemp is an important contribution for the conservation of the ecological balance.
