Since 1994, in the heart of Val di Non, the valley in the Italian Dolomites known for its apples, Lucia Maria and her husband Alberto founded the Lucia Maria Melchiori S.r.l.,
the craft company leader in the transformation of whole and selected local apples, into juice, cider, vinegar and balsamic.
The company's goal has always been to bring on the tables simple and natural products, obtained from organic apples.
Over time the company has focused its business on organic and innovative products.
The core business is the production of apple vinegar and apple juice obtained from direct squeezing of whole apples processed from boxes of about 300 kg.
The high quality raw materials and careful craftsmanship permit to the company to obtain genuine and good products.
Time after time the company decided to produce also Apple Cider, a naturally sparkling spumante obtained by whole apples. The high quality raw materials and the Charmat method transform this in a unique product. Over the years, to the classic apple cider have been added the Apple and Blueberry Cider, the Apple Elderflower and Mint Cider and the Apple and Ginger Cider. From 5% to 12% vol., cider is perfect as a drink, throughout the meal and with desserts.
In 2013 the desire of innovation pushed Matteo, the son of the owners, to open a little Brewery, in which are produced different kinds of unfiltered beers: from hell to weizen, from blanche to pale ale, apple beer and all the seasonal beers. We managed to produce an organic Gluten Free beer that maintains all the taste and flavour of a Hell beer.

The company also pays attention to the environment and for this reason decided :
• to adopt a modern photovoltaic system to produce in harmony with nature by using solar energy;
• to use the production waste to produce biogas;
• to heat offices and restaurant by using the heat produced by acetifiers.
Even today, at the height of its development, the company Lucia Maria Melchiori maintains its human and family size.
The whole team remains strongly linked to the territory in which the company was born and developed and to its original values,
so as to be able to transmit to each product a strong experience.
