Our daily work relies in the development of AlmaWin and Klar EcoSenstive products in harmony with man and nature. AlmaWin has been experiencing sustainability for more than 25 years. Our main points of focus are the selection of high quality ecological raw materials wherever possible from controlled organic cultivation, the consistent consideration of human health and the continuous optimization of the washing and cleaning results.
Experience Cleanliness! Ecological detergents and cleaning agents
AlmaWin and Klar EcoSensitive products are particularly appreciated for their good washing and cleaning results. They combine highest washing and cleaning performance with best skin tolerance and best environmental sustainability. All Products are dermatologically tested and meet the strict demands of the independent ecologicial certification bodies ECOGARANTIE and/or ECOCERT. They are also VEGAN (Vegan Society).
Klar EcoSensitive is our brand "FRAGRANCE FREE". The products are completely free of fragrances, they are dermatologically successfully tested, eco-certified with ECOGARANTIE and/or ECOCERT, VEGAN (Vegan Society) and partly recommended by the DAAB (German Allergy and Asthma Association). Not least because of the full declaration of the ingredients in INCI, Klar EcoSensitive products are particularly suitable for allergy sufferers and skin senitive people.
2020 all about sustainability
Packaging is a central topic at AlmaWin and Klar:
The cardboard and paper used consists of recycled paper and comes from FSC-certified sources. Currently the majority of the bottle bodies of AlmaWin and Klar are already made of 100% PE- or PET-Recyclat – by the end of 2020 all bottles will be made of this material. Also these recovered plastic bottles are again 100% recyclable. Thus, a closed recyclable material cycle for plastic is created, which preserves valuable exhaustible resources and is an important step in the fight against climate change. AlmaWin could already save more than 85.000 kg of new plastic since the beginning of 2018. The recycled plastic bottles are clearly and thus consumer-friendly marked as "environmental heroes“.
With the Eco-Pack AlmaWin goes a different way in terms of sustainable packaging: The resealable stand-up pouch allows a material saving of 75% compared to the 1.5 litre bottle - a real environmental hero.
Beneficial insects meadow project
The number of flowering food sources is decreasing and the more the summer progresses, the fewer plants are flowering. The food supply for our beneficial insects is becoming scarce, as a consequence they are threatened with starvation and we are threatened with the irretrievable loss of the pollinators that are essential for all of us.
AlmaWin counters the extinction of species with the project "Beneficial insects meadow":
In direct neighbourhood to the new building of the company headquarters, which will be ready for occupancy in spring 2020, a 1000 sqm large meadow for beneficial insects will be created. Various wild flowers and plants, of course in organic quality, will be home and food for insects there. With the special edition "Beneficial insects meadow" of the popular AlmaWin Washing-Up Liquid a package of seeds of seed-solid wild plants will be added, so that as many beneficial insect meadows as possible will be created everywhere.
The AlmaWin "Beneficial insects meadow" blooms from June to October and offers a valuable all-year-round food source for bumblebees, butterflies, ladybirds and Co. Following the course of the year, from soil preparation to autumnal mowing, the company-owned "Beneficial insects meadow" will be accompanied by ecologically and socially sustainable actions. Whether in a flower pot on the balcony or in the house garden: everyone can do something!
