Lizza - the low carb dough revolution for more joy in healthy eating
Since 2016, Germany´s first low carb startup has brought an outstanding food revolution to the market. With their first product - a low carb pizza dough - the founders Matthias Kramer and Marc Schlegel have invented a low carb, glutenfree and plant-based alternative for regular pizza dough, made of 100% organic ingredients for a clean label. For many customers, this invention reflects “a dream come true”. Instead of wheat or other grains, the Lizza dough is entirely made of the superfood ingredients linseeds and chiaseeds and can be used for a variety of special nutrition habits, such as low carb, vegan, celiac disease or simply a healthy diet. With an incredible resonance of more than 2 million sold Lizza doughs and listings in over 7,000 supermarkets in Germany and Austria, the startup is of course growing rapidly. By now, the product portfolio consists of fresh and pre-baked dough, low carb wraps, low carb pasta and a matching tomato sauce. And the next innovations are already planned and tested.
