Fairtrade Original. Pioneers of Fairtrade since 1959. As co-founder of the Fairtrade movement, we are the first brand to successfully sell Fairtrade products in Europe. With our products we pick up the recipes of the "origins“, right there - "Where flavour begins"!
Since 60 years we are working together with our partners in Asia, Africa and Latin America. We visit our trading partners regularly, cooperate and develop new recipes together. We are reinvesting the profits in projects in the origin to create the biggest impact as possible with our work. In addition, most of the products are packaged on-site, creating added value and jobs in the countries of origin.
The core of our corporate purpose is Fairtrade - to ensure that we regularly undergo strict external controls. But we also go beyond these standards: For example, we encourage farmers to switch to organic agriculture and help them with trainings and fundings - always aiming to offer our assortment in organic quality and to minimize the impact on the environment. That's why, for example, we also offset our CO² emissions.
