Santa Gadea organic farmstead goat cheese and UHT goat milk - produced exclusively with milk coming from our 1300 organic goats, IFS-certified. A magnificent wooden barn houses the alpine goat flock, which is qualified as disease-free, CAEV included.
Our farm helps fight against rural depopulation, as it is located in Burgos, a region which is heavily affected by this.

Santa Gadea farm has a negative carbon footprint:
- Energy: clean energy is generated via our 2 solar PV panel parks (450kW each) and a wind farm (20 MW). This power output exceeds the total input needed to run the farm.
- Reforestation: we have planted more than 120,000 trees.
- Circular economy: the fertiliser used on our lands is a natural fermentation of the goat manure, which is transformed into a rich, organic, GMO-free compost produced via Effective Microorganisms, which are a bacteria-based natural booster. During this anaerobic process of fermentation, over 50% of CO2 emissions is saved.
