It is a company formed in January 2019, whose core business is to market fruit for use by medium-large fruit and vegetable processing companies in Italy and Europe. RKProducts's strongest point is its headquarters in Saluzzo, in the heart of the Piedmont plain, where more than 100,000 tons of fruit are produced every year for both Italian and European industrial production process.
The largest percentage of fruit marketed by RK Products is represented by the cultivation of apples, 40%, which is notoriously privileged in Saluzzo area.
Other fruits are grown to a lesser extent: PEACHES AND NECTARINES 30%, PEARS 15%, PLUMS 9%, KIWI 4%, APRICOTS 2%.
CONVENTIONAL METHOD accounts for 60 % of the quantity of fruit marketed, 25% is produced by the ORGANIC METHOD, BABY FOOD ZERO RESIDUE METHOD covers 10 % of the total of fruits produced. Lastly 5 % of the production is represented by the BIODYNAMIC METHOD.
CONVENTIONAL PRODUCT: 70% of the conventional product is processed into juice and 30% into puree.
ORGANIC PRODUCT: 85% of the organic product is processed into puree and 15% into juice.
BABY FOOD PRODUCT: 80% of the Baby Food product is destined for processing into puree and 20% into juice.
BIODYNAMIC PRODUCTS: 85% of the biodynamic product is processed into puree and 15% into juice.
In addition to these products, RKP can also supply the processing industries with small fruits - berries - fresh or frozen, from conventional, organic or biodynamic farming, thanks to Italian suppliers or business partners in the USA, France and Spain.
